Triple Canopy has won an award for hiring veterans and military-experienced job seekers, recognized by a website that aims to help soldiers and veterans search for civilian jobs.
CivilianJobs.com selects Most Valuable Employers awardees based on each company?s plans to recruit, train and retain soldiers and veterans in the workforce,?Triple Canopy said Thursday.
Triple Canopy says it hires veterans with experience in combat arms, special operations, law enforcement or security force management.
?The company was founded by former U.S. Army special forces personnel in 2003 and today, more than 80 percent of our work force comprises former members of the armed forces,? said Ignacio Balderas, Triple Canopy CEO.
?The core values, skills and experience our veterans bring to the company permeate our corporate culture and have made the company what it is today,? Balderas added.
CivilianJobs.com recognizes MVE awardees during the month of May to recognize Armed Forces Day.
