The Samsung Galaxy Beam looks set to touch down on UK shores this month, as a tentative date is revealed online.
Sporting a projector capable of providing a 50-inch display, the Galaxy Beam offers up a completely different experience, but it's something we've seen before, as Samsung released another handset, by the same name, a couple of years ago.
Carphone Warehouse has put the provisional date of June 2012 on its website for the arrival of the Galaxy Beam, however clicking through to view more details on the handset we're greeted by the message "Expected: March 2012".
Delayed?
We're now wondering if the Galaxy Beam has been delayed by three months, of whether this is just an error on the website. We've contacted Carphone Warehouse and Samsung to find out.
As well as that fancy-pants projector the Galaxy Beam has a dual-core 1GHz processor, 4-inch screen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 8GB internal memory, 5MP camera, 2,000mAh battery and a microSD card slot.
There's no word on pricing thus far, but in the meantime check out our hands on Samsung Galaxy Beam review for more information.
