The jury deciding George Zimmerman's fate is deliberating for a second day in Sanford, Fla. Zimmerman is accused of profiling, pursuing, and fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teen, in February 2012. The former neighborhood volunteer crime watchman has pleaded not guilty, saying he shot in self-defense when Martin attacked him. Zimmerman, 29, could face life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder. The jury also has the option to consider the lesser charge of manslaughter, which could mean up to 30 years in prison. Zimmerman will go free if the six-member panel finds the state didn?t prove either charge.
