The 2012 Annual Gala at the Umstead Hotel,?Saturday, November 10

This year?s festive Gala celebrating North Carolina Opera?s upcoming season will be on Saturday November 10. This year?s Gala promises to be elegant, delicious and fun, with live music & singing, silent & live auctions, and lots of surprises!

We will celebrate North Carolina Opera?s upcoming season at our festive annual Gala on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.?This year?s Gala promises to be elegant, delicious and fun, with live music & singing, silent & live auctions, and lots of surprises. Following a seated dinner prepared by Herons, the award-winning Umstead restaurant, enjoy dancing and after-dinner coffee & cordials. Or sip them in our unique Listening Lounge featuring North Carolina Opera?s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Timothy Myers and General Director Eric Mitchko.

Wall Of Wine Raffle

Our perennially popular Wall of Wine raffle is a multi-case collection of favorite wines! Raffle tickets are $25 each, with all proceeds supporting North Carolina Opera.

The wines are donated by Opera Board Members and the current retail value of this collection is $1,880 and climbing! This collection includes:

• A?strong showing of BIG Cabernet Sauvignons from?California?s Napa Valley
• Complex and subtle blends of Chateauneuf-du-Pape?from?France?s southern Rhone Valley
• Luscious whites from France and California
• Full-bodied reds from Italy
