GPS in Canada

Hey all,

Going to NY, and we're going through Canada to get there. I'm wondering if we have to do anything special to get GPS to work while we're in Canada. The way I'm thinking is, because we start the navigation in the US, and Google defaults through Canada that the directions will stay on the phone, but we just won't get any data perks while in Canada.

Am I right in my thinking, or is there more?

There will be a DROID X and a DROID Bionic on board.
