Wonderful ideas! I especially liked the Breakfast Club idea. It reminded me of two gatherings I attended years ago. When I lived in a different area, a friend always had a thursday afternoon "tea" once a month for her women friends. It was very fun. Everyone brought something, including wine and food. She invited new people from time to time which made it more interesting. I had another friend who had a group of friends (men and women) over every Sunday. We rotated bringing several copies of the New York Times, and bagels and cream cheese. We would eat and read and share interesting articles by reading them out loud. The host usually played Bob Dylan music (it was many years ago). Regular gatherings like that make life more special.
